Do you want to make it smoother and speed up your copywriting process?

If YES!

So this blog is for you because here, you will learn how you can streamline your writing process and get more done in less time with the help of the AI writing tool ChatGPT.

In this blog, you will learn the complete process of writing a copy, whether you want to write headlines, want to polish your web copy, draft an email campaign, etc.

But there is one thing you should do; otherwise, you will not learn the complete process. The thing is, read this blog word by word. By the end of this blog, you will know exactly how to use ChatGPT to write your copy.

So,

Are you ready to unleash the superstar copywriter who is hiding inside you with the help of a little AI magic?

I know your answer is YES 😂 So let’s start:

Brainstorming Ideas

Brainstorming is the first step if you want to write any form of copy, so your idea must create a wow factor because every great piece of writing begins with a powerful idea.

This phase is very tough because copywriters struggle here. After all, it is not easy to come up with fresh concepts, no matter if you are writing an Email campaign copy, Product description, Blog Post, etc.

Here, tools like ChatGPT work for you in order to shortcut your brainstorming process.

Let’s suppose you have a client who wants five blog post ideas for next month’s content calendar.

So, instead of spending a lot of time brainstorming, start with ChatGPT. Just in simple words, type the prompt:

Here, I have just inserted the prompt, “Give me five ideas for blog articles on physiotherapy.” see how this tool has given me five ideas in detail.

Even the best part is if you do not like these five ideas, you can just write, “give me another 5 more.” This tool will give you more than five ideas.

It was just an example of blog post ideas. You can get ideas for your Email campaigns, Social media content calendar, Pay-per-click ad copy, digital video content copy, etc. This tool will help you a lot in the brainstorming phase.

Creating an Outline

After brainstorming, once you have finalized the best idea for your blog, email, video script copy, etc. The next step is to create an outline because a clean and clear detailed outline serves as a backbone and ensures smoothness of writing.

Through ChatGPT, you can find a solid roadmap that you can follow when you create a copy.

Let’s take an example and create the outline for one of the blog ideas that we have already found in the Brainstorming phase:

Write a prompt on ChatGPT: “Give me an outline for a 1,000-word blog article covering the following topic: “Understanding Physiotherapy for Neurological Disorders: Techniques and Outcomes.”

After the submission of the outline prompt, look at the response provided by this amazing tool.

It is just an example. You can see how much solid foundation it gives you before starting. It makes your further work manageable.

You can make a more refined outline for your copywriting project just by giving a more refined prompt.

Writing a Blog Article:

After creating the outline of your blog, here is the time to write the blog, which should grab attention and engage the reader.

So now we have already gotten the outline of the blog above in the outline section. Let’s start writing by using our outline.

In every blog, the introduction section is very important that it should grab the attention of the reader because if this section fails to grab attention, you will lose your audience.

Because people like to read material that should focus on their pain point and is easy for them to digest.

So, let’s write the attention introduction through chatGPT:

Check out how beautifully I have got my introduction just by giving the prompt: “Write 100 words covering the following topic “Introduction” in a warm and friendly tone after every 2 or three sentences, give a line break.”

After getting an attention-grabbing introduction, let’s write any one section of the blog as an example so you can understand how to write an inner section of the blog:

So I have given it a prompt: “Write 150 words covering the following topic “Section 1: Common Neurological Disorders” including its subheadings too in a warm and friendly tone .”

The response I get:

One best thing you can do if you do not like the format tonality is to change it as per your need.

After creating the midsection, it is also very important to conclude your blog engagingly.

Let’s craft our conclusion by giving the prompt, “Write 100 words covering the following topic “Conclusion” in a warm and friendly tone after every two or three sentences, give line break cover subheadings too.”

By implementing these steps, you can craft well-structured blogs, so use chatGPT as your partner and write attention-grabbing introductions, informative inner sections, and amazing conclusions.

Writing Headlines

After learning how to brainstorm using chatGPT, create an outline, and write according to the outline, here is the to-go specific.

Here, I am going to show you how to use chatGPT in order to craft attention-grabbing headings and subheadings.

Through ChatGPT, you can craft headlines and subheadlines for your print ads, social media ads, PPC ads, etc.

The headline is the first impression, and it is considered a make-or-break factor. Your headline should pique curiosity and encourage readers to engage with your ad; otherwise, you will lose many potential prospects.

The subheadline is used to give more detail and clarify the main headline. Here, we mention what the headline is all about.

Let’s take an example of an ad for a shoe brand called “Khan’s Shoes.”

Objective: The objective is to get conversion through a website.

Medium: social media (Facebook)

Look, I have written a simple prompt: “give me 5 headlines and subheadings for the social media ad brand’s name is “khan’sKhan’s shoes.” my objective is get conversion.”

How well-crafted ideas are provided by chatGPT, but it’s not enough yet. You can craft your headline and subheadline as per your need by leveraging these functionalities of chatGPT.

Writing an Email campaign

Email copywriting is one of the crucial tasks for a copywriter because, according to the objective, it’s not an easy job to write email copy sequences.

In this section, I am going to guide you on how you can use chatGPT in your email creation process.

Every email copy contains four main things:

  1. Subject Line: it is considered a first impression because the reader sees it first.
  2. Preheader: It is considered a short summary of the subject line, and it is used to provide additional context.
  3. Body Copy: Here, you mention your offer in detail.
  4. Call to action: It is used to tell the reader what to do next after reading your email.

I have mentioned a concise and easy-to-digest definition of all the main essentials of email copy. Now, let’s discuss how to prompt ChatGPT to write an email copy.

Let suppose:

Brand Name: Khan’s shoes.

The objective of the Campaign: drive sales.

Target audience: Subscribers.

Subject Line:

Prompt 1: Generate a subject line that highlights an exclusive offer for our subscribers. Useful information: “My brand name is “Khan’s Shoes.” Objective of Campaign: “Drive sales.” Target audience: “Subscribers.”

Focus on the second Prompt: “Give me 5 variations of the subject line using different tones of voice.”If you don’t like the idea, you can also give the next Prompt that gives me other variations like my Prompt.

Now, after the Subject line, let’s move on to the next step in order to write a preheader.

Just write the Prompt, “Create a preheader against each subject line that complements the subject line and encourages readers to open the email.”

Look how smart chatGPT is. Note one thing: this tool remembers its previous command.

Using this quality to make prompt changes will enhance its response capability.

Well, let’s move forward now. I am going to craft the Body of the copy:

In the Body of the copy, I am going to use six prompts each for specific tasks, which include:

  1. Body Copy Introduction.
  2. Main Offer Details.
  3. Product Highlights.
  4. Urgency and Encouragement

So let’s begin with the Body of the copy and write the introduction of our email Prompt:

“Write an introduction paragraph against this subject line “Step into Style with Khan’s Shoes!” for an email campaign offering a 20% discount on new arrivals, starting with a greeting: “Use a friendly tone and give a line break after two lines.”

Focus on prompt changing how i have written an introduction against the subject line “Step into Style with Khan’s Shoes!”

Let’s move on next step and write the Main offer details by using the prompt:
Now, describe the exclusive offer, including the discount percentage, the use of a discount code, and the limited-time nature of the offer. Give a line break after two lines.

Let’s move on to the next step and write Product Highlights by using the Prompt:

Now, mention Highlight key features of the new arrivals, emphasizing why these products are must-have items for the reader. Give a line break after two lines.

After product highlights, let’s move to the next, where I am going to add an urgency factor in my email copy by using Prompt:

Now, write a sentence or two, creating a sense of urgency and encouraging the reader to take action quickly to benefit from the special offer.

After this, let’s add a call to action and align the whole email by using 2 Prompts:

Prompt 1 for CTA: Now, Create a call to action that urges the reader to shop using their exclusive discount, such as ‘Shop Now and Save 20%’ or ‘Discover Our New Arrivals.’

Prompt 2 Align complete email: Now Align the complete email in proper format. Do not mention any heading like “introduction paragraph and call to action.” Include the subject line.

That’s it!

We have completed our email copywriting by using chatGPT, but remember, I have just shown you how you can craft an email.

As per your need objective of the email campaign, write a prompt as needed. Always use prompt changing to get well-crafted responses.

Writing Product Descriptions

Being a copywriter, you need to know how to write a product description. Still, if you write a product description manually, it takes too much time because you have to consider many things while writing a copy for a product description, such as:

  • Introduction: used to grab attention.
  • Features of Product: In simple words, it shows what product has specific attributes such as material, size, or functionality.
  • Benefits of Product: How users get benefits includes outcomes and how it resolves pain points.
  • Advantages: why the features are good.
  • Product specifications: it includes material that has been used, care instructions, and colors.
  • Usage instruction: how to use the product.

These five things are essential for every product description. Let’s use ChatGPT to write product descriptions while considering these five essentials.

Brand Name: Khan’s shoes.

Product name:  Khan’s Invincible Runner.

Let’s start with the introduction of the Product description. Prompt:

Write a clear and concise product description introduction for the product name “Khan’s Invincible Runner” by “Khan’s Shoes,” emphasizing their high quality and stylish design and using an attention-grabbing tone to give a line break after three lines.

After the introduction, I am going to write the features of the product by using the Prompt:

List and describe the key features of the “Khan’s Invincible runner,” including high-quality genuine material, cushioned insole, non-slip rubber sole, and availability in various sizes and colors.

Now it’s time to move to write the advantages of the features by using Prompt:
Explain the advantages of the listed features, such as durability, comfort, safety, and versatility.

After advantages, I am going to write benefits by using Prompt:
Highlight the benefits these features and advantages provide to the customer, like enjoying long-lasting luxury, walking comfortably all day, staying safe on various surfaces, and enhancing their wardrobe.

After the benefit, I am going to write usage instructions by using Prompt:
Include usage instructions or tips for the “Khan’s Invincible runner” to help customers get the most out of their purchase.

Now, let’s write the specifications of the product by using the prompt:
Provide detailed “Khan’s Invincible runner” specifications, including materials, sizes, colors, and care instructions.

After getting all the essential descriptions, let’s combine all and get the final result by using Prompt:

Now align the complete product description that you have written above, including “Introduction, Features ,Benefits, advantages, Product specifications, and Usage instruction “Do not mention headings on the top of each section. Write in one go. Just give a gap after every four lines.

Now, you have a clear idea of how you can craft product descriptions by using prompt sequence. You can even write more enhanced product descriptions just by using your creativity.

The purpose of that exercise was to show essentials and how to connect essentials to write attention-grabbing product description copy.

Writing Press Releases

The press release is used for any type of announcement, such as an event, announcing the news, or any new development related to the brand.

This is very important for every brand because it is used as a powerful tool in order to generate media coverage and boast awareness of the brand.

Seven main components are used to write press release copies. The list of the components are:

  1. Headline.
  2. Introduction.
  3. Details and Benefits.
  4. Quotes and Testimonials.
  5. Distribution information.
  6. Boilerplate: it’s a short pre-written paragraph that provides background information about the brand.
  7. Closing.

I have defined a boilerplate because I know it will confuse beginners.

Let’s start writing to know all the components of a press release, which is about Khan’s Shoes” new product launch, “Khan’s Invincible Runner.”

Headline Prompt:

Write attention- headline for my press release announcing the launch of “Khan’s Shoes” new product launch, “Khan’s Invincible Runner.”

Introduction Prompt:

Now, write an introduction that provides a brief overview of the announcement, including the key details of what, when, where, why, and how.

Let’s move to the next step and write details of benefits, Quotes, and testimonials.
Prompt for Details and Benefits:
Provide more details about the new sustainable footwear, “Khan’s Invincible runner”, highlighting its key features and benefits to customers in concise form.

Prompt For Quotes and Testimonial:
Include quotes from company executives, designers, or customers to add credibility and personalization to the press release.

Remember, it’s just an example when you work to enter your brand’s quotes or testimonials as per your need.

Now let’s move to writing other components of the press release, including Distribution Information, Boilerplate, and Closing.

Prompt for Distribution information:

Include contact information for media inquiries and details on how journalists can access additional resources or schedule interviews.

Prompt for Boilerplate:
Write a brief company overview or boilerplate that provides background information about Khan’s Shoes for journalists who may be unfamiliar with the brand.

Prompt for closing
Conclude the press release with a strong closing statement that reinforces the significance of the announcement and encourages further coverage.

So after writing complete press release components, let’s align all in order to shape the final shape of our press release.

Prompt for final copy:

Now align the complete press release that you have written above, including “Headline, Introduction, Details and Benefits, Quotes and Testimonials, Distribution information, Boilerplate, and Closing. ” do not mention headings on the top of each section. Write in one go. Just give a gap after every four lines.

So now you have also learned how you can write press releases by using ChtaGPT and what components should be covered when writing a press release.
